Presentation of the First Edition

The global economic system is experiencing an accumulation of shocks and disruptions: geopolitical volatility, trade tensions, value chain reconfiguration, health and climate crises, scarcity of certain resources, rising compliance requirements, and technological acceleration. These dynamics are transforming competitive fields, investment priorities, and regulatory requirements.

The core question submitted to scientific debate for this 2026 edition is: how can organizations shift from a logic of defensive resilience (absorbing and returning) to a logic of offensive antifragility (learning, transforming, and creating value) in an environment marked by uncertainty, the acceleration of AI, and the imperative of sustainability?

Call for Papers

Scientific Rationale

In this current context of continuous disruptions, organizational resilience (the capacity to absorb a shock and maintain an acceptable level of functioning) is no longer anything more than a minimal condition. Academic debates now invite us to move beyond the paradigm of returning to the initial state to explore antifragility: the capacity of a system to learn, reconfigure itself, and improve its performance through uncertainty, disruptions, and stress (Taleb, 2012).

The rise of artificial intelligence, including generative AI, advanced analytics, and cognitive automation, opens a new cycle of operational improvement and innovation (demand forecasting, dynamic planning, predictive maintenance, inventory optimization, supplier risk detection, transport steering, and real-time decision support). It simultaneously intensifies governance challenges. Sustainability, finally, is no longer a peripheral issue: it conditions access to markets, financing, and partnerships.

Morocco is a relevant field of study and experimentation in this regard. Its position at the Euro-African crossroads, the growth of its industrial ecosystems, and its energy transition path directly illustrate the issues addressed by the conference. The theme articulates three fields (antifragility, artificial intelligence, sustainability) and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 8, 9, 12, 13, and 17).
